Life Cycle Analysis (LCA)

This school was jointly organized by CIRAD and Montpellier SupAgro in connection with the ELSA platform in Montpellier.
 Lectures were given by 14 Life Cycle Analysis specialists, including 8 from abroad (Netherlands, Switzerland, Denmark, Spain) with sessions on the state of the art, practical work and brainstorming sessions in small groups, all entirely in English.

The aim was to take stock with the participants of all the basic methodological problems involved in applying this methodology to agricultural products in general, but also to formulate some research questions and consider future scientific projects on the application of LCAs to tropical agricultural products.
 The school was held at the Port-Marine Hotel in Sète and provided some intense moments of scientific discussion, but also great conviviality …
